Meet Melisa Taylor
As a lifelong educator with 40 years of experience teaching in Orange, Seminole, and Wakulla County Schools as well as teaching at Valencia and Tallahassee Community College, I saw firsthand how many students needed personalized academic support outside the traditional classroom.
That realization led me to establish The Learning Curve Tutoring in 2010. My vision was simple: to create a tutoring center that brings together the most experienced, caring, and dedicated certified teachers in our community — educators who genuinely love teaching and care deeply about our children.
I believe parents know their child best — and they should also have full control over their budget and schedule. That’s why we offer flexible, affordable tutoring with no long-term contracts or commitments required. Families choose the services and schedule that work best for them.
In addition to my teaching career, I proudly served our community for twelve years as an elected member of the Wakulla County School Board.
